Facial Acupuncture
Natural, non-invasive support for healthy, radiant skin. Optional LED light therapy add-on available in office.

The opening conversation
Glowing skin isn't just a cosmetic goal. It's a reflection of what's happening inside your body. Facial acupuncture is a natural, non-invasive approach to supporting healthy, radiant skin from the inside out, and the results go a lot deeper than what you see in the mirror.
Using very fine needles at specific points on the face and body, facial acupuncture increases circulation, stimulates collagen production, improves muscle tone, and supports lymphatic drainage. The first thing most patients notice? They look less tired and puffy, and there's a glow that wasn't there before. Over time, patients see improvements in fine lines, skin texture, and overall skin health.
But here's what makes this treatment different from a standard facial: it also works on your whole body. Facial acupuncture addresses the hormonal and stress-related drivers of skin concerns, not just the surface symptoms. Because your skin is a reflection of your internal health, we treat both.
What I can help with
Fine lines and wrinkles, dull or uneven skin tone, puffiness and fluid retention, jaw tension, skin laxity and loss of muscle tone, acne and acne scarring, hormonal skin concerns, and general skin health and radiance.

The LED Light Therapy Add-On
For an additional $25, you can enhance your facial acupuncture session with LED light therapy, available in office. LED light uses specific wavelengths of light to penetrate the skin at different depths, stimulating your skin's natural healing and rejuvenation processes without any damage to the skin's surface.
Red light stimulates collagen and elastin production, reduces inflammation, and improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and scarring. Blue light targets acne-causing bacteria, reduces breakouts, and calms inflammation. Together, they make a powerful complement to facial acupuncture, amplifying the results of your session.
Please note the LED add-on cannot be booked online. Just let me know at your appointment and we will add it in.

How to get started
Let's work together.
A series of treatments is recommended for best results. Most patients start with weekly or bi-weekly sessions and move to monthly maintenance once they are happy with their results.
FAQs

I recommend coming with a clean face if possible, as the needles are placed directly on the skin. If you need to come from work or have somewhere to be after, I can work with you on that.
LED light therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to support skin healing and rejuvenation at the cellular level. Red light stimulates collagen and reduces inflammation, while blue light targets acne-causing bacteria. It is not required but makes a great add-on for anyone looking to amplify their results, particularly for aging concerns or acne and scarring.
Yes. Because facial acupuncture works on the whole body and not just the face, it can be really effective for hormonally driven skin concerns like acne. For deeper hormonal support, facial acupuncture pairs well with naturopathic care through the Hormone Cornerstone Method.
Facial acupuncture is not just a surface treatment. Unlike fillers or Botox, it works by stimulating your skin's own natural processes, including collagen production and lymphatic drainage, while also addressing the internal hormonal and stress-related factors that affect your skin. The results are natural, gradual, and whole-body.
Yes. Facial acupuncture is suitable for all skin types and tones. If you have any specific skin concerns or conditions, just let me know at your appointment and I will tailor the treatment accordingly.
Many patients notice an immediate glow and reduction in puffiness after their very first session. For longer-term results like improvements in fine lines, skin texture, and acne scarring, a consistent series of treatments is recommended. Most patients start with weekly or bi-weekly sessions for 6 to 8 weeks and then move to monthly maintenance.
The needles used are incredibly fine and most patients find facial acupuncture to be a deeply relaxing experience. Some points may produce a mild sensation but nothing uncomfortable. I always work at your pace and adjust as we go.
